Volvo promoted changes in the management of its automotive operations in Brazil. The company appointed Marcelo Kronemberger to the position of commercial director and André Bassetto to the position of planning director.
“We are always looking to the future, possibilities and opportunities. Those steps allow us to use the best talents of people and thus allow our directors to have different experiences,” said Luis Rezende, head of Latin America.
Kronemberger has a degree in economics and has accumulated professional experience in the area of finance and in business strategies. He started at Volvo in 2012 in the administrative area. Four years later he was the regional director of imports.
Bassetto, on the other hand, has a degree in mechanical engineering and has been with the company since 2013. He held the position of product manager before being appointed to the new position. His professional experience spans the areas of product development and marketing.
The automaker also appointed Ricardo Ochiai, who was in the commercial area, to the post of after-sales director. A graduate in advertising and marketing, Ochiai has over 13 years of experience as a marketing, product and communications manager.
