Much has been said about the end of production of the Volkswagen Gol hatch and the Voyage sedan. However, nothing has been officially confirmed by Volkswagen, on the contrary, the models have only received updates and reached the 2023 line.

Volkswagen Gol and Voyage: models arrive in the 2023 range even with uncertainty about the future of cars

You may have already read or heard somewhere about the possible closure of the Volkswagen Gol, along with the Safari. Even here, inside Garage360, we reported on a brief suspension in the automaker’s assembly line, at the Taubaté plant.

However, according to Volkswagen itself, the non-working days were only used to update the factory unit that will produce the new one VW Polo song on the MQB platform.

However, even with the brand’s declaration on the continuation of the line, it is believed that the models will not last long in the automaker’s portfolio. Even in the automotive press, a lot is already being said about the Gol farewell special edition.

News of the 2023 line: Volkswagen Gol has a starting price of R$ 74,150

The hatch’s 1.0-liter engine produces 84 hp in ethanol and 77 hp in gasoline. The engine works in conjunction with a five-speed automatic transmission.

Volkswagen Safari can be purchased for R$ 85,770

The Volkswagen Voyage sedan is also available in the same version. It combines the same 1.0-liter engine with 77/84 horsepower and a five-speed manual transmission.

In this case, 0 to 100 km/h is done in 13.5 and 13.8 seconds and the top speed is 170/168 km/h.

The sedan has the same option packages as the VW Gol.
