The clash between Pierre Gasly (Alpha Tauri) and Lando Norris (McLaren) took place in the 41st round of the Miami Grand Prix, this Sunday, May 8. As Briton was about to pass the Frenchman, two of the same seats touched and McLaren hit the wall. The pilot is OK.

A tough blow for McLaren and Lando Norris during the Miami Grand Prix. The British driver was forced to retire after colliding with Alpha Tauri French driver Pierre Gasly during the 41st round. of F1 done on this circuit.

Interesting accident

An online safety car – surprisingly popular – was installed first before a real security vehicle intervened. The British pilot has nothing in spite of the impact violence. Note that prior to this collision, Frenchman Pierre Gasly was ready to take part in some fiery times during the race. It had the Spaniard Fernando Alonso of Alpine, a few rounds before.

The race continued after the rubble of Lando Norris’ car was removed from the road. The race that could be restarted was Max Verstappen (Red Bull) when he defeated Charles Leclerc (Ferrari).
