Verstappen is unstoppable, Ferrari crashed (again) and received a penalty! [F1]

He started far back on the grid, however, but we knew Max Verstappen was better than all his rivals at the Spa Francorchamps circuit. Also, the Dutchman won, almost without a fight, at the F1 Belgian Grand Prix. He won this event for the second time in his career, ahead of his teammate, Sergio Perez. Because despite his great position, Carlos Sainz could not do anything against the only seats of Austria… Worse for the Scuderia, Charles Leclerc, fifth in the finish, received a penalty, after taking a completely inappropriate risk, in Ferrari.

Max Verstappen without competition, Ferrari broke…and ideas!?

Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez, Carlos Sainz, here is the podium, in order, of the F1 Belgian Grand-Prix. Very quickly, the championship leader asserted his authority as Lewis Hamilton, author of a superb maneuver on Fernando Alonso, made a mistake on the first lap. As a result, the two men grappled, infuriating the impetuous Spaniard. So it was George Russell who took advantage of the mayhem to finish the race in fourth place, very close to catching Carlos Sainz. Behind, fifth place seemed to go to Charles Leclerc. Unfortunately, the last stop, intended to allow the Monegasque to set the fastest lap, got the best of this classification, following a penalty. All this to try to take the fastest lap step, to no avail… What more can I say? All is well at Ferrari, it seems…

Fifth Alonso, therefore, a good result for Alpine F1, especially since Esteban Ocon finished in a good 7th place, after having the most impressive victory of this Formula 1 Belgian Grand-Prix 2022. A good performance too , of Sebastian who will later retire. Vettel, finally back in the points, and eighth place under the checkered flag. For his part, Pierre Gasly, despite an unexpected start from the pit lane, sacrificed two points for ninth place. A great reward for his efforts, after crossing the desert for a long time.

Finally, a great result for Williams Racing which, thanks to the mastery of Alex Albon, returned to Grove with a tenth place point! Put in full classification.
