United Autosports announced on Tuesday 20 September the arrival of Jakob Andreasen as Technical Director. The former race engineer at Toyota Gazoo Racing in the WEC’s Hypercar division takes over from Dave Greenwood.
Jakob Andreasen will work with the Yorkshire team’s LM P2s in the WEC and ELMS, but also with the Michelin Le Mans Cup LM P3s. The winner of the 2022 24 Hours of Le Mans with Toyota, will bring his experience of 17 years spent in motorsport in different disciplines. Before the Japanese manufacturer, Andreasen worked mainly in Formula E at Dragon and in Formula 1, Williams, Force India and McLaren.

Jakob Andreasen will be present this weekend with his new team for the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the fifth and final round of the ELMS season.
