The Citroen Ami twin, Opel has introduced the first SUM – Sustainable Urban Mobility – to the market: Opel Rocks-e. A new solution in terms of sustainable urban mobility, 100% electric, which Portugal can receive during 2022.
A more compact proposal – only 2.41 meters -, designed for just two people, and which, like the Citroen Ami, takes the place between a Car and a Motorcycle, Opel Rocks-e it considers itself as a vehicle for young drivers, who do not yet have a driving license, but have a license to drive light motorcycles and quadricycles.
Designed specifically for city use, it benefits not only from advanced dimensions and easy access through doors that open in different directions, but also from 14-inch wheels with a diameter of only 7.20 m, which makes it very suitable for narrow. alleys and small spaces, where parking is easy.

A 100% electric car, the Opel Rocks-e claims a top speed of 45 km/h, as well as a range of around 75 km WLTP. In this case, thanks to the use of a 5.5 kWh battery, which can be charged in about 3.5 hours, using normal electricity.
The Opel SUM also includes a Rocks-e charging adapter at public charging stations.
According to the German manufacturer, the new Opel Rocks-e will be available first on the German market, and the launch is planned for the autumn of 2021. Sales in other countries are being evaluated, and should be carried out in the year 2022.
