In the past, delta4x4 has already taken many road cars and SUVs to the next level, not only in appearance, but above all in off-road capabilities. So it is not surprising when a luxury SUV like the Rolls-Royce Cullinan attracts experienced technicians from Unterumbach, Bavaria.
Many months of work were invested in the conversion plans of the English nobles before the first inquiry from the prospective buyer from the Arabian Peninsula. The conversion of such a rolling icon to the price of a condom is no doubt also an exciting challenge, because on the one hand it should be stylish and functional at the same time, but on the other hand it should also show perfect craftsmanship. . Nothing else would do justice to the base car.
But how does a luxury SUV become an off-road lobby? First and foremost, you need more ground clearance, which can be achieved with a large wheel mounted and lifting kit. This includes tires that promote high grip even in sand, mud or snow.
A real caravan car also needs a sturdy roof shelf that can hold sandbags, sand shovels, water jars, boxes and, if necessary, a roof tent. The front panel protects sensitive car parts such as cooling systems. Both roof racks and front bars are perfect carriers for additional lighting systems. Japanese PIAA lamps that have been used by delta4x4 for over 30 years are the hardest thing on the market. Tested by vibrations up to 4 times the speed due to gravity, they have been leading top race and race cars to the end for decades.
Each measure costs as much as a small car. For Cullinan, this means in detail: the 20-inch real delta bead locks are fitted with 33-inch heavy tires from Mickey Thompson and cost around 15,000 euros for the full set. To handle these large wheels, delta4x4 developed new wheel arches extensions that cost around 14,000 euros. A lift of at least 80 millimeters is available for 15,000 euros and this, along with a large wheel, ensures that the car is about 150 millimeters high.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan can be converted into a complete package on Off Road Tuner for approximately 150,000 euros. Not to mention: a purchase price of over 300,000 euros for the average Cullinan.
