Electronic vehicle status: 33 capitals under magnifying glass
Switch surveyed 33 European capitals for the study, with only a maximum of five cities from one country being assessed. In German races: Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt / Main, Cologne and Munich.
Infrastructure, price, distance, performance, free facilities
The score (EV mark) was determined from these components, with 10 being the highest value. Munich (EV-Mark 6.38) performed well among German cities, but only ranked 17th in total – so there is still room for improvement here!
Tail light in Germany: Frankfurt am Main
Disappointing tail light in Germany: Frankfurt / Main (mark EV 5.81). Above all, the high current tariff price (45 cents per kWh) bothered analysts. A kilowatt of electricity is only the most expensive in Turin (46 cents) and London (52 cents).

5 best cities for EV drivers
1. Reykjavik: With a total score of 7.94, the Icelandic capital declares itself the best European city for EV drivers. The short distance between the only 550 meter charging stations is very impressive – The only Hague in the Netherlands is the best (480 meters).

In the Icelandic capital, Reykjavik, the conditions for using an electronic car are much better than in Europe.
2. Glasgow: With an excellent research value of 92 percent for uncharged chargers, Glasgow ranked second with a final score of 7.54.
3. You will see: Despite having the worst score of 1 percent for free chargers, Lisbon is still doing well. At an average price of only 17 cents per kWh, the Portuguese capital received an impressive mark of 7.31.
5.Oslo: Despite only 8 percent of free payment centers, the Norwegian capital reaches a final mark of 7.04, which is mainly due to the average distance of 610 payment terminals.
