Police officers from the Longueuil Agglomeration Police Department said they found the car involved in a fatal crash and run that cost the life of a 25-year-old woman Thursday night to Friday at the intersection of Rome and Lautrec in Brossard. .

In the past few hours, the development of SPAL investigations has enabled the discovery of the suspect’s car, a black 4-door Chevrolet Silverado, in the Greenfield Park sector at the Longueuil assembly site.

The vehicle was seized for inspection.

Killing drama

The hit and run happened around 4:20 am at the intersection of boulevard Rome and rue Lautrec. The driver of the truck allegedly hit a woman who was crossing the road. He would run towards the Taschereau boulevard with his car. This one showed damage to the front bumper, the passenger side.

The 25-year-old woman died at the scene of the accident. Rome Boulevard was closed to the north for most of the night but has now reopened.
