The prisoner proves his innocence with the help of tattoos and a security card, but remains in prison: ‘Inhumanity’, the defense says.

A maintenance assistant for a large company in Araucária, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba (RMC), unjustly arrested by police officers from the municipality’s Civil Police Station, remains in prison even after presenting evidence in his favor. He has been in prison since Tuesday, the 6th, suspected of participating in a shop robbery on the morning of January 31st this year.

The boy’s defense got evidence that he was working when the crime happened, by submitting documents, such as a time card and a statement from his supervisor in the sector where he works in the company. The boy, however, was still in prison as of noon this Friday, the 9th.

“It is completely absurd, inhuman. A freak. It’s unfortunate. We have presented his defense in the case, but so far we have not been able to release him because of the holidays and they are doing little to get him out of there, even with all the evidence we have presented.
