The Peugeot 408 is already on display… at the Louvre-Lens

With little exposure, the Peugeot 408 is already making its public debut with a stunning temporary exhibition at the Louvre-Lens.

Unveiled last June, the Peugeot 408 is already making a lot of noise. Its athletic design that combines a raised sedan with a “fastback” profile is surprising. Peugeot takes advantage of this new effect to unveil an unprecedented platform in the heart of the Louvre-Lens.

Amazing facility

This ultra-modern museum located in Lens, in the Pas-de-Calais (62) certainly hosts an unusual installation, imagined by the agency OPEN and produced by the Parisian studio Superbien. The Peugeot 408, in its original launch color Obsession Blue, is positioned in a transparent and rotating sphere. It is placed on very wide legs, set on a real slab. Circle moves around to discover every nook and cranny of the new 408. It’s enough to turn visitors’ heads, as seen in the presentation video below.

Linda Jackson, director of Peugeot, announces: we really liked the idea of this ephemeral work, natural and pleasant to look at, which perfectly enriches our visitor. The unique style of the new Peugeot 408, which seems to be appreciated by many viewers who have already discovered it, has been prepared in a completely original way, in this beautiful and modern setting that is the Louvre-Lens. “.

Want to be transported to the Paris Motor Show in October?

For now, Peugeot does not specify if the installation is still visible on the website or if it was removed after the video was recorded on July 21. The manufacturer, however, claims that this unique function will probably be used on other occasions. Why not at the Paris Motor Show, for example? As a reminder, this will take place from October 17 to 23, at the Porte de Versailles. Peugeot confirmed its existence, unlike Citroën which refused for this version.
