The luxury BMW 530e

BMW has announced the arrival of the Luxury version of the 530e hybrid sedan. The model, which was already on sale in Brazil with the traditional sporty badge of the M Sport line, now gets a more luxurious finish for those looking for a car with a better and more refined profile. The new configuration is already on sale at the BMW do Brasil dealership for R$ 464,950.

Made in Dingolfing, Germany, the BMW 530e Luxury is even better with its more refined and formal finish than the M Sport version, with chrome accents on the grille and front and rear bumpers. The 19-inch wheels have a unique design. Inside, new features are ventilated Comfort front seats to provide more comfort for passengers, aluminum paneling and an entertainment screen for rear seat occupants.

Hybrid, the model has two push devices. The four-cylinder, 1,998cm³, petrol engine produces 184hp (between 5,000 and 6,500rpm) and 30.6 kgfm of torque, from 1,350 to 3,700rpm. Associated with an electric motor, the set produces 292 hp and a combined torque of 42.8 kgfm. Both engines direct their power to the rear wheels of the car with the help of an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission with shift levers behind the steering wheel. By putting this, according to Inmetro, 530e Luxury reaches an average of 24 km / l (city) and 25.8 km / l (highway).

A high-power battery, made up of lithium-ion cells, with a total capacity of 12kWh in total, was placed in front of the rear axle to provide greater balance between the body, the fuel tank on the rear axle and the trunk, which has a floor of completely flat with a total capacity of 410 liters. The new 530e Luxury comes with a quick-change Charger. The charging equipment comes with an additional cable that increases the charging power to 3.7 kW. A full recharge on the Quick Charger takes 3 hours and 36 minutes. Estimated electric range using the WLTP cycle is up to 56km.

The 530e Luxury is equipped with some of BMW’s most advanced semi-autonomous driving systems, including Driving Assistant, a semi-autonomous driving system that enables intelligent driving in situations such as traffic jams, slow or long journey. Other features of autonomous driving are Parking Assistant, which automatically measures parking spaces through cameras and sensors and performs maneuvers with high precision, saving time and great comfort for the driver; and BMW Live Cockpit Professional, which provides the user with all information and driving monitoring through two 12.3” screens (instrument panel and multimedia center), as well as available interfaces and technical requirements for operating options and voice control.

This version also has the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant which can be activated with the words “hello BMW” or anything else programmed. The system has the ability to perform many functions of the vehicle or explain the operation of the equipment. In addition, the technology has the ability to learn the driver’s behavior and adjust their work.

The optical assembly has BMW Laserlight headlights, LED fog lights and high beam assistant. In addition, the sedan also has an acoustic protection for pedestrians called VSG — Vehicle Sound Generator, a safety device that emits sound electronically when driving at a speed of up to 30 km / h so that other users can hear the car.

Even when you are away from the BMW 530e Luxury, it is possible to stay connected to the car through the My BMW app, which allows you to activate remote functions. Such as, for example: finding the car, locking or unlocking it, checking that the windows are open, that all doors are locked, and also, receiving notifications for each remote software update (Remote Software Update).

Other differences are the wireless smartphone charging system (for inclusion) and services available through BMW ConnectedDrive, such as BMW Teleservices, which informs the driver of any need for maintenance service according to the conditions of use; Psychiatric Emergency Call; ConnectedDrive services and information website, weather and BMW apps (connection with Android and iOS smartphones – iPhone and iPads); with concierge, 24/7 customer support and information service.

The new BMW 530e Luxury arrives in Brazil in seven body color options (Alpine White, Sapphire Black, Sophisto Grey, Minera White, Phytonic Blue, Bluestone and Bernina Gray) and three interior finish options (Nappa Ivory/Black, Nappa Leather) Black/Black and Nappa Leather Mocha/Black).
