Following Freddie Hunt’s participation in the Nissan Sentra Cup during the Trois-Rivières Grand Prix, a documentary entitled “Le Monaco d’Amérique – Memories of circuits” will be released. The film will revisit the history of GP3R by drawing inspiration from individual and collective memories from yesterday to today, from a collection of thousands of photographs, several hours of video footage and interviews covering the period of 1929 (38 years before the creation of the Trois-Rivières event) to this day.
“Camping in the legendary area of motor racing, whose international importance cannot be disputed, “Le Monaco d’Amérique – Mémoires de circuits” will offer the public a great mix of history and adrenaline, carried by real characters and enthusiasts. . Records of the very first of this documentary exercise will be recorded with the great participation of Freddie Hunt during his visit to the Gilles Villeneuve Museum” show the producers, Louis-Nicolas Thiffault and Stéphane Choquette.
It is at the Gilles Villeneuve Museum tomorrow, Thursday August 4, that the production of the film will be launched. Freddie Hunt will be there, 24 hours after testing his Nissan Sentra race at Complexe ICAR.
“We will also take pictures during the weekend of the Trois-Rivières Grand Prix 2022, and the pictures will be used as a springboard to develop the monitoring of the project “Monaco d’Amérique – Circuit memories”. Freddie Hunt, son of legendary F1 champion James Hunt, will be on the road for two Nissan Sentra Cup races in GP3R. He will face no less than 32 Quebec drivers! The first event will be contested on Saturday at 2pm and the second on Sunday at 11:35am. These races will also be shown live on the page Nissan Sentra Cup on Facebook.
