Next Saturday (26), no fewer than 58 race cars specially developed by Mitsubishi Motors will be lined up on the starting gantry, ready to kick off a lot of dust, take all four wheels off the ground and deliver drivers, sailors and teams. A unique experience, full of speed and adrenaline.
The date marks the opening of the 23rd season of the Mitsubishi Cup, a rally country of the cross of speed promoted by the brand of three diamonds which, this year, will have a historic record of registered participants to compete in seven stages promoted throughout the year, in several cities within São Paulo.
Organized in collaboration with Spinelli Racing, the Mitsubishi Cup is open to all those who like to accelerate a specially prepared car, in the middle of the most challenging dirt roads spread across the State of São Paulo.
This competition gives drivers and passengers the experience of participating in a meeting that follows the rules set by the Brazilian Automobile Federation (CBA), all in a familiar and pleasant environment.
The Mit Cup is divided into seven categories, depending on the level of the car and the experience of the competitors: Outlander Sport R, Outlander Sport R Pro, L200 Triton ER, L200 Triton ER Pro, L200 Triton Spor R, L200 Triton Sport R Pro and L200. Triton Sport RS.
No previous pilot and waterman experience is required to participate. The “Pro” categories are conditioned by the participation of at least ten registered cars in the first stage of the season.
This competition is ideal for entrepreneurs and professionals from different areas, speed lovers, who see motorsport and especially rallying as entertainment to be had during the weekend. It is also a great opportunity for those working towards becoming a professional pilot or navigator.
At each stage, the organizers of the category will also promote an array of activities corresponding to the race, as a means of providing an extraordinary experience to the different tribes who love sports, adventure and close contact with nature.

Mitsubishi Motors is the only automaker in Latin America that has a competitive production line. To date, the brand has produced more than 650 vehicles for dirt roads and tracks.
Cars participating in the Mitsubishi Cup are specially made by the brand of three diamonds, which has expertise Spinelli Competition Technician, responsible for the organization and for all technical questions of the competition.
Opportunities for new operators
For those who have never participated in the Mitsubishi Cup, Spinelli Racing offers the possibility to rent an Outlander Sport R. Through it, pilots and navigators have the possibility to participate in the category action in the system “sit and drive“.
When contacting the Spinelli Racing team, participants will go through a complete experience that includes exclusive training with pilot Guiga Spinelli and everything else needed before, during and after the action to be performed.

Zero carbon events
Since last year, Mitsubishi Motors and Atvos, the second largest ethanol producer in Brazil, have entered into a partnership to offset 100% of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from meetings and tours promoted by the 4×4 vehicle brand.
Calculations, made by British Standards Institution – BSI Brasil, takes into account all direct and indirect charges from the competitions held in 2021 and 2022. The mapping includes the 1st, 2nd and 3rd scopes of production resulting from these actions.
