The latest James Bond cars are on sale!

For the 60th anniversary of the “James Bond” saga in cinema, Christie’s and the production company EON are organizing an auction of items used on the set of the franchise’s 25th opus and the latest, “Dying Can Wait” (No Time To Die in vo ) released in October 2021. Three installments seen in previous episodes, each featuring a different James Bond actor, are also featured on the list. The catalog includes watches, clothing and other decorative items but also, and this is what interests us here, several cars. Their number is 007.

British spy design Aston Martin DB5 is one of them. More precisely, it is one of the DB5 copies used to carry out the Italian “Dying Can Wait” movement, whose badly scratched bodywork still bears the scars of its adventures. The car has its famous submachine guns hidden in the headlights, and a roll bar. Under its hood, a 3.2 L six-cylinder is mated to a manual gearbox. Its ground connections were specially designed by Aston Martin. The coupe is estimated at between 1.5 and 2 million pounds (approximately 1.8 to 2.4 million euros).

But this special edition also has a plaque signed by producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli as well as actress Lashana Lynch. Under the hood, the 5.2 L biturbo V12 still develops 725 hp. The sports car is estimated at between £300,000 and £400,000 (€357,000 to €476,000).
