HB20 remains the leader in sales among passenger cars and Hyundai Creta follows the same “step” among SUVs.
The Hyundai HB20 in its hatch configuration was just the best-selling passenger car in the national market in the past year after selling 86,455 units from January to December last year.
Within its segment, of small hatchbacks, which closed with a drop of 28% compared to 2020, the HB20 saw its share rise from 18% to more than 25% from one year to the next.
And continuing the positive trend of 2021, Hyundai recorded the best stock in its history in the quarter.
Overall, the automaker recorded a 10.8% market share and maintained fourth place among all brands, with 40,359 units sold.
When considering cars sold only by the dealer network directly to individuals, the share is even higher, around 13.2%.

As for the engine, the car configuration is divided into a 1.0-liter five-speed manual engine and a 1.0-liter TGDI engine with a six-speed automatic transmission.
