A cold front is advancing through the south of Brazil and, since the dawn of this Friday, the 29th, began to cause changes in the weather in Paraná. Areas of instability have gained strength and moved through the state, causing rain in several regions. According to the Paraná Environmental Technology and Monitoring System (Simepar), the predicted amount of rain is not very high in Paraná, but the wind can be strong.

Maringá will have partly cloudy and unsettled weather this Friday. According to Simepar, there is still a chance of rain in the city, with rain falling mainly in the morning. However, the predicted concentration is not very significant. About four millimeters of rain is expected. Temperatures are mild, ranging from 12°C to 22°C.

On Saturday, the 30th, after the passage of the cold front, a mass of cold air is expected to enter Paraná, which should bring warmth to the state. According to Simepar, it should not rain in the state on this day, which is growing colder in all regions. There is even a chance of frost in some areas. The sun dominates again, but it doesn’t help to heat up much. Maringá will have a frosty dawn, with a low of just 7°C. The sun reappears in the city, among the few clouds, and makes the temperature rise slightly throughout the day, but the maximum should not exceed 24°C.
