The CUPRA Born will debut in Australia in 2023

The CUPRA Born is proof that electrification and electrification go hand in hand. Australian production will begin in late 2022 and sales are planned for early 2023.

First launched in November 2021, the CUPRA Born is already a commercial success in Europe. It embodies in every way the visual and dynamic style that characterizes the CUPRA brand.

CUPRA will soon open its online sales in Australia with a range that will include the Formentor crossover, Ateca SUV and Leon sedan. CUPRA Formentor and CUPRA Leon will be available mainly in a plug-in hybrid version (PHEV). These will be the very first affordable European cars of this type to be offered in this country.

Some 7,800 people have shown their interest in the brand so far: the largest number (3,600) for the Formentor range, with the CUPRA Born in second place (2,100).

The price and specifications of the models that will be sold will be confirmed soon. 2022 will also see the car brand open the CUPRA City Garage in Sydney’s CBD. This unique location, close to the world’s most famous port, will offer an unusual and unique experience to customers and will host cultural events and performances.
