This time, the Japanese brand has updated the V-Strom 1050 version and created two new options that will replace the current 1050 and 1050 XT, named V-Strom 1050 and V-Strom 1050 DE (Desert Express). Both bikes will be available in early 2023, with the DE version entering the global market first.

Two new versions of the Suzuki V-Strom 1050
First of all, both versions will be aimed at motorcyclists who like to travel long distances. In this way, the new Suzuki V-Strom 1050 maintains all the previous characteristics, in which performance has been increased to increase the driving pleasure and comfort of the rider and pillion passenger.
Likewise, the 1050 DE now has many features designed specifically to increase off-road capability. First, the new 21-inch front wheel and wheel base give you more control on unpaved surfaces.
To this end, the V-Strom 1050 DE also has larger rear and front travel, wider handlebars and footrests, as well as aluminum crankcase protection.
In addition to the revised shape and chassis geometry and ergonomics, the DE will have two-way ABS, with the ability to turn off the rear ABS, as well as an additional off-road traction control setting.

For 2023, the new V-Strom 1050 DE and the regular V-Strom 1050 have a new color TFT panel with two-way Quick Shift, as well as electronics that include, among other things, a six-axis IMU, Two. -mode lean angle-sensitive control ABS, tilt and load dependent control, Hill Hold hill assist, cruise control, 3 power modes and 3 traction control settings.
