Suzuki crowned again

Already secured a victory in Le Mans 24 Hours last year, the trio formed by Gregg Black, Sylvain Guintoli and Xavier Simeon once again gave victory to the Yoshimura SERT team ahead of the official Yamaha and FCC TSR Honda France teams.

The Yoshimura SERT team once again dominated the 24-hour Le Mans motorcycle ride. After winning the 2021 edition in June last year, Gregg Black, Sylvain Guintoli and Xavier Simeon were able to cross two hours without any problems, apart from the lack of gasoline in the first hours of the race, on the wheels of their Suzuki GSXR. -1000 to seek the second consecutive crown at the Bugatti Circuit of Le Mans. However, the race has long been dominated by Honda of the FCC TSR team Honda of France, which the CBR 1000 RR-R was awarded to Josh Hook, Gino Rea and Mike di Meglio. But, early this Sunday morning, technical problems slowed down and allowed Yoshimura-SERT to climb in front of the race head. Losing twelve rounds in the maneuver, three formed by the Australian pilot, the British pilot and the French pilot left second place to YART.

Yoshimura SERT unstoppable, Fourth Fire

The official Yamaha team, which included Karel Hanika, Marvin Fritz and Niccolo Canepa in the race, tried everything to oppose the Suzuki regime. One lap behind the leaders, however, these three could never close the gap and had to bend over. When the end of the race was interrupted by a security vehicle interference, following a fault of the engine scattering water along the path across the Dunlop curve, No. 1 Suzuki crossed the finish line as the winner after completing 840 rounds of the Bugatti Circuit. YART lost in less than two minutes when FCC TSR Honda France completed the stage in fourteen rounds. Remember the excellent performance of Team 18 Sapeurs Pompiers, represented by Hugo Clere, Baptiste Guittet and Philipp Steinmayr, who finished off the stage, 24 rounds behind the winner. Three who win the SuperStock unit.
