Skoda has released a higher and more powerful version of its first 100% electric model – Enyaq Sportline iV 80x. A proposal whose commercialization should begin soon, with the first units delivered in the summer of 2021.

Using a propulsion system of two electric motors, announcing a combined power of 265 hp and a maximum torque of 425 Nm, Skoda Enyaq Sportline iV 80x is, thanks to these characteristics, the most powerful version in the Czech SUV category.

Contribute to this title, but also to the permanent wheel drive, the option of Skoda and a permanent magnet synchronous motor on the rear axle, delivering 204 hp and 310 Nm of torque, while on the front axle, an asynchronous electric motor, promising 109 hp and 162 Nm of torque.

Ensuring energy for both engines, an 82 kWh battery pack, which Skoda claims is capable of providing a maximum range of 500 km, according to the WLTP cycle. In addition to this, despite the secrecy imposed on many aspects, the declared maximum speed of 160 km / h.

However, and for customers who are willing to give up a little on features, this Sportline version is also offered in two other versions, both with rear-wheel drive only. One of them, with the same 82 kWh battery, but promising “only” 204 hp of power, while the other, with a 60 kWh battery, announces 179 hp.

Regardless of the engine and, above all, because it is the version with the most drive, the Sportline always comes with a lower ground clearance – 15 mm lower at the front and 10 mm lower at the rear – compared to the other versions, thanks to the adoption of different springs and suspension.

With aesthetics to match

In terms of aesthetics, contrast is ensured through the use of gloss black appliqués around the front grille and air intakes on the front bumper, as well as on the outer glass covers, window frames and roof bars. This, while the rear spoiler is painted in matt black and the rear diffuser in gloss black.

As for the rims, Skoda recommends a 20-inch solution, and, as an option, customers can also choose larger 21-inch wheels.

As for standard equipment, the Enyaq Sportline includes all Matrix LED headlights, a three-spoke sports steering wheel, a 13-inch infotainment system, black sports seats with integrated headrests, slightly finished. -Sueda fiber and leather, leather style fabric on the dashboard, black roof, aluminum pedals and carbon effect spoilers throughout the cabin.

Finally, and already as optional, a title display using Augmented Reality technology, Park Assist and an autonomous driving system that the Czech brand calls Travel Assist.
