SKODA AUTO has published the first video presenting the New KAROQ. Four years after its launch, the Czech automaker’s flagship SUV model benefits from a modern design and new cutting-edge technologies. KAROQ, which was SKODA’s second widely distributed model after OCTAVIA in 2020, as well as in the first half of 2021, will in the future have a more expressive appearance.
The revised front end features a wider SKODA grille and slimmer headlights. In addition, the redesigned LED modules of the Full Matrix LED lights give the front a characteristic four-eye design. As for the rear, the new lights attract special attention. The new SKODA KAROQ will make its debut in a digital presentation called “The Faces of KAROQ” on November 30 at 10:00 a.m. French time.
More than 1/2 million Skoda Karoqs have been produced since the compact SUV was launched in 2017.
Since its launch in spring 2017, the ŠKODA KAROQ has made a significant contribution to the success of the Czech car manufacturer. Together with its “big brother” KODIAQ, this compact SUV has won many customers and car magazines around the world, playing an important role in the development strategy of the Czech manufacturer in recent years. More than 500,000 copies of the KAROQ have left the production lines since 2017. Since 2020, it has been ŠKODA’s best-selling SUV as well as the second most popular model for the Czech manufacturer, after the OCTAVIA. The facelifted KAROQ will make its digital debut on November 30.
The ŠKODA KAROQ is popular with customers, but also highly praised by the international automotive press. In its first year on the market, the KAROQ was immediately featured by the most important automotive magazines in Germany. Auto Photo awarded the “Golden Steering Wheel” as the best compact SUV, timeCars and Sports honored it with the “AUTONIS” award for the best new compact SUV design. KAROQ also won the competition and won the “Auto Trophy” ofAuto Zeitung in 2017, 2018 and 2019 as the best SUV to order at a price of up to 25,000 euros. Award “SUV of the Year” in Bulgaria and in the “Fleet News Awards” in England. German company car magazine Firmenauto awarded the ŠKODA KAROQ its “Company Car of the Year” award for three consecutive years, from 2019 to 2021, in the category of compact SUVs and crossovers. In 2021, KAROQ was also released in the UK and twice in Russia.
