Skoda presents the Enyaq FestEVal, a “camping” version of its electric SUV with a folding rear stove and a roof tent. This is a unique example, but the devices that make it are available from their manufacturers.
Well aware of the current craze for cars, vans and other recreational vehicles, manufacturers are determined to take them on. Soon it is Skoda, which opens Enyaq ready for camping, and specially designed for fans of summer festivals. Hence the name of the car: Skoda Enyaq iV 80 FestEVal.
Well stocked back room
So the base car is the 80 version of the electric SUV, whose rear engine develops 204 hp and whose 77 kWh battery provides 544 km of range in the WLTP cycle. The car had a kit designed by the Czech equipment manufacturer Egoé. In the trunk of the 585 L there was a box in which the drawer opens from the outside consisting hob, sink with drainer, worktop and storage space. The top of the cabin has a folding mattress, making it possible to take advantage of the 1,710 dm³ volume provided when the rear seats are folded down to provide sleeping space for two people. Tables and folding chairs allow you to sit outside.
Camping for 4 in an electric SUV
Another major feature of the equipment installed at Enyaq FestEVal is its collapsible roof tent, which can accommodate two additional people. It features a photovoltaic fan, torch and storage net. The ladder that allows its access is stored in a tent box that, once closed, has little effect on the aerodynamic performance of the car according to the manufacturer.
Enyaq FestEval is a pure exercise in style, exclusive model and not intended for sale by Skoda. But if the idea appeals to you for your Enyaq, Egoé offers the rear Nestboard Combi 600 for this model at a price between €1,770 and €2,940 excluding VAT depending on the chosen configuration (with or without mattress, etc.), and also supplies Tents of the Hussarde roof from the French brand NaïtUp from €2,458 including tax.
