Renault will launch a new electric 4L

Renault has confirmed the delivery of a modern interpretation of the 4L, with an electric motor. There will also be a new electric Kangoo.

Renault does not turn away from car shows. The group will be active for the next Mondial de Paris, which will take place from October 17 to 23. All products will be present, and, for each, something new.

Alpine will therefore present a new concept car, which embodies the “future of its products and sports strategy”. As a reminder, the company with the arrow A is preparing three new electric models, this concept may indicate one. In Dacia, we will discover a new range and logo. On the other hand, we expected to see the first hybrid model of the brand, according to Jogger, and that does not seem to be planned.

On the other hand, the plan will be more in parent company Renault. In addition to the first public outing of the Austral SUV (powered by two new E-Tech hybrid engines), there will be the first private electric Kangoo, with a range of nearly 300 km.

But the star will be on the new 4L version. Renault formalizes the presence at the Paris Motor Show of its reinterpretation of this unique model, which it teased in June 2021. Like the R5, the 4L will return in a 100% electric version.

However, it will be a concept car, since the launch of the production model is not planned before 2025! The car will share its CMF-BEV underpinnings with the new R5. But there is no question of making it a low-entry model. The new Renault 4 will be distinguished from the R5 by a more practical space and exterior. We can’t wait to see what happens.

To complete the group, Hyvia’s subsidiary, dedicated to hydrogen, will present the production version of the Master Van H2-Tech. And Motivate, dedicated to new mobility, will show Duo, a small machine that will replace Twizy.
