Redesigned Dacia Duster Commercial: price and details!

Dacia Duster Commercial 2022

The new Dacia Duster Commercial, launched and sold in the UK, faces a price hike, but remains one of the most affordable cars on the market. This version now benefits from an update, reports several English media.

Dacia updated the retail version, with a new level of trim and exterior modifications. Powertrain options remain the same for the Duster Commercial, as does payload capacity. Dacia indicates that the first deliveries are planned for the last quarter of 2022.

Dacia this year unveiled the new ‘Link’ badge, which appears on the front grille, while the new ‘Dacia’ text on the tailgate is visible. At the rear, a new Y-shaped headlamp design is also seen. The silver trim on the SUV’s bumpers was replaced with a permanent black plastic replacement. The rest is the same as that of a regular SUV.

Inside, there are also many similarities between the facelifted Business Duster and the regular Duster. It sports the same seats and Dacia’s new eight-inch infotainment system, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. On the steering wheel, we find, of course, the new Dacia logo.

The cargo capacity of the Duster Commercial has not changed, so it can carry 1,623 liters of equipment and carry a maximum load of 503 kg, depending on the model. Dacia has also installed additional dark rear windows and a luggage cover for the entire length of the luggage space.

The Duster Commercial comes in two trim levels, Essential and Expression, available from £13,995 (ex VAT) and £18,145 (ex VAT) respectively. Standard equipment includes LED daytime running lights, black roof, 16-inch wheels, air conditioning, electric front windows, cruise control with cruise control, trip computer, DAB radio with Bluetooth connectivity and USB connectivity.

The Expression version adds: a reversing camera, parking sensors, cruise control and a central differential lock on the 4×4 versions. Inside, there is a leather steering wheel, an armrest, a wood panel for the driver’s seat, an eight-inch infotainment screen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and two USB ports.

Three engines are available on the Duster Commercial. The petrol variant includes a 1.0-litre turbocharged three cylinder, which produces 89bhp and 160Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.

The only diesel engine available on the Duster Commercial is a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder, which develops 113 hp and 260 Nm of torque. Prices start from £16,485 (excluding VAT) for the front-drive model. A four-wheel drive configuration with a central locking differential starts at £17,495.
