Provopar is doing this year’s community wedding campaign. The action that has a collaboration between the City Hall of Maringá, Provopar, Sesc and the Court of Justice of Paraná wants to collect festive clothes. The idea is to donate the pieces to couples who can’t afford a suit or wedding dress.

This event will have the participation of about 600 couples from Maringá and nine other municipalities in the region. As some people cannot afford to rent or buy wedding dresses, suits or even shirts, the campaign comes to give them something extra. According to the director of Provopar, Rosangela Danielides, this year no one will be left out of the dream day with the much sought-after dress.

“Last year we already got clothes, Senac got hair and make-up for the brides. We felt great joy, how happy this couple was not only to get married, but to be married with beauty, beauty, improvement”, said Rosangela.

The collection is being held until August 8 and donations can be taken to Provopar, which is located on the ground floor of the Municipal House. The community wedding will be held on August 19, at 7 pm, at the Chico Neto Sports Gym.

“In the time of the crisis that we are going through, of this epidemic, we see that bringing happiness to someone who is close to us, there is nothing more fun. And that is the goal of Provopar, to change families, to change people”, he said.
