Polestar brings Vivaldi browser to Polestar 2

Polestar, a manufacturer of high-end electric vehicles in China, has launched the Vivaldi Polestar 2 browser.

In response to one of the Polestar car owners’ main wishes, the presence of a complete web browser in the car allows users to browse the web as they would on their mobile devices. This is the first browser available for Android Automotive OS. “It’s great that we were able to respond to the desire of our owners’ community to have a browser with Vivaldi as a Christmas gift,” said Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar. “Now there’s a new world of web content you can explore in Polestar 2 – including some of your favorite streaming platforms.”

Designed for Polestar 2 by the Vivaldi team in Norway, the app brings a wide range of functionality to a mid-screen 11 with Android Automotive OS on the car, and works just as well as on a mobile device, with tab browsing, capability streaming, online. purchase, and state-of-the-art security measures. Vivaldi Browser is designed to be flexible and has a built-in ad blocker, a translation tool that is friendly to privacy, a note feature, tracking protection and an encrypted sync feature.

Vivaldi’s Polestar 2 browser is now available in all European, North American and some Asian-Pacific markets. Polestar is also highlighted when it comes to infotainment.
