THEProduction of the new Opel Astra started this Thursday in Rüsselsheim, Germany. To mark the moment, Uwe Hochgeschurtz, CEO of Opel, was with Volker Bouffier, Prime Minister of the German region of Hesse, Tarek Al-Wazir, Minister of Economy of Hesse, and Udo Bausch, Mayor of Rüsselsheim, at their meeting. visit the Rüsselsheim factory to witness the start of production on the new Astra.
The first orders begin to reach customers in the spring, and a hybrid version of the plug-in will be available at the beginning of sales. The 100% electric Astra-e will arrive only in 2023.
As the production started, it’s time to remember all the prices of the new Portuguese Astra. Priced from 25,600 euros, it will have 13 different versions, three equipment levels -Business, Elegance and GS Line – and three engines to choose from.
The Sports Tourer (van) version will be available, apparently, in the second half of this year, and their prices have not yet been revealed.
