At least 300 cars from Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth, among others, national and foreign, “invade” Águas de Lindoia between Friday (27) and Sunday (29). The Mopar Nationals are back at the resort for the 17th edition.

Canceled in 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic, this is the first major automotive event held in the state after the resumption of fairs and exhibitions. The offer comes from Chrysler Clube do Brasil.

The organizers are announcing the mandatory distance and the use of masks. It is estimated that at least 1,500 people pass through the city on weekends.

For visitors and car lovers, the main attraction is the exhibition of historical, iconic and current models at Praca Dr. Vicente Rizzo in front of the Majestic Hotel. Cars can be seen tomorrow from 9 am to 5 pm. and Sunday (29) until afternoon. Entry is free.

The 2021 edition of Mopar celebrates the 50th anniversary of Dodge’s national revolution (two-door). The line launched in 1971 consists of the Dart, Charger and Charger R/T. It’s an opportunity to see all R/Ts in four original catalog colors side by side.

In Águas de Lindoia, the 20th anniversary of the end of national production of the Dodge Dakota, manufactured until 2001, in Paraná, will also be remembered. A group of owners will be at the event to showcase the classic style.

Mopar, in the United States, refers to the old Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, DeSoto, Imperial, Fargo, Eagle, Jeep and Ram models, brands that were part of the old Chrysler group, now merged into Stellantis.
