Some photos captured in Europe show the new Jeep model for the local market, the Mini Jeep Renegade, which should be officially launched in the old continent in 2023, see details.

Jeep Jeep Renegade? Meet Jeep’s next European SUV
Jeep is one of the best-selling SUV brands in Brazil, and it is slowly starting its electric portfolio in the country with the adoption of vehicles that are already known, however, with a new set of engines.
However, in other regions, such as Europe, for example, the brand is preparing for new versions, among them, a compact SUV, called Mini Jeep Renegade. The car was caught while it was still hidden and the pictures were released by Automated media.

Through the images it is possible to identify some characteristics that are already part of the brand’s portfolio. However, as they call it Mini Renegade, the features adopted in the new car are similar to the average SUV, Compass.
That’s because instead of the traditional round LED headlights, the car has an LED fillet. In addition, another modification is the seven-pointed grille, which in the model appears to be closed, already promoting the electric propulsion of the model.
In addition, the body profile is also more similar to the Compass, as it does not adopt the square shape of the Rebel. However, the flashlights still exude the compact automaker’s DNA.
Other details that draw attention are the turn signal repeaters integrated into the exterior mirrors, the black-tinted wheels, the integrated roof rack and the rear spoiler mounted on the trunk lid, details that add to the car’s sporty profile.

The car should be released in 2023
Scheduled to launch next year, the brand’s new SUV will have leaner dimensions than the Renegade. In addition, the car should be built on the CMP platform, which is already used in other cars such as the Peugeot 208 and Citroen C3, which will soon arrive on the domestic market.
With 100% electric motorization, the Mini Jeep Renegade will be the first vehicle of the brand to have a zero carbon engine, given that the first signs of electrification of the brand were limited to hybrid models, such as Compass 4xe has already been launched in Brazil.
As for the electric car, there is still no confirmation of the technical details, however, it is believed that the brand’s new compact SUV has a 50 kWh battery pack and produces a power of up to 136 hp.
Can a model make it to Brazil?
Initially, there is no evidence that Jeep will bring the model to the domestic market, given the fact that it is a car intended for the European market.
However, it does not mean that in the near future, the model cannot find a place in the national market, as the Brazilian consumer is open to new SUVs. In addition, the use of the CMP platform shared with other structures of the group and which is presented here, would enable the possibility of local production.
