Mike Krack reiterates Aston Martin’s ‘high hopes’ for the season finale

Aston Martin did not have an easy season in Formula 1, continuing to be far from fighting for the top of the “second pack”. Even the goal score has not changed this year, but nevertheless, he maintains hope of doing well in this final stage of the season.

Team principal Mike Krack said as quoted by Racefans.net that there is evidence that the AMR22 can be competitive, as he recently demonstrated at the Dutch GP:

– I think we have several races ahead where the car will be more competitive. They saw in Zandvoort that there was the ability to enter Q3, Sebastian obviously had a problem during the 13 years that prevented him from going forward. At this point he was at the same time as Lance. [Stroll]. So we had potential and I think this is also encouraging for the next race’.

From the beginning, the Singapore doctor is one of the hopes of Aston Martin, according to the official, he also expects new developments in one seat: ‘I think Singapore has been a track where we do very well. So we have high hopes that we will achieve something good from now until the end. We have a lot of confidence for the next race, especially after our weekend in Zandvoort where we also surrendered in qualifying. We will have more improvement in Singapore, and Singapore has the same low level of power as Zandvoort and Budapest, so we are very confident that we will be a little bit better there.’
