Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans Brazil is celebrating 25 years since the launch of the Sprinter in the Brazilian market. The Athlete debuted in 1995 in Germany and was the first Mercedes-Benz pickup truck to receive the proper name, which today designates a wide line.
The arrival in Brazil in August 1997, just two years after its release in Germany, marked the introduction in the country of the Big Vans segment.
Developed in Argentina, the Sprinter came to supply the need for a medium-sized vehicle, good capacity to carry goods and passengers, able to move quickly in the heavy traffic of big cities and ensure ease of loading and unloading in situations where traditional trucks are challenged and operational problems. .

In its 25 years of trajectory, Sprinter has collected a collection of awards noticed by specialized media. Among the latest sales value, from the Autoinform agency, the best buy, from Quatro Rodas magazine, sales champion and sales champion, from Frota & Cia and the best car and the best chassis cabinet of O Estado de S. Paulo newspaper.
