Mercedes-Benz Group AG appoints Andreas Tetzloff as President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada, effective October 1, 2022.


Mercedes-Benz Group AG announced that Andreas Tetzloff has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-Benz Canada, effective October 1, 2022. Mr. Tetzloff replaces Eva Wiese, who has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mercedes-Benz. Customer Solutions GmbH, will take effect on October 1, 2022. In his new role as President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada, Mr. Tetzloff (50) will have overall responsibility for Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Benz passenger cars.

He will lead Mercedes-Benz Canada’s 250 employees and a national network of 59 authorized dealers. Mr. Tetzloff joined Mercedes-Benz AG in 1992. He held several positions in the retail sector, including that of commercial director responsible for HR and finance in Frankfurt (among others), before becoming sales manager in Berlin in 2008 .

After serving as CEO of Porsche Hamburg from 2011-2014, Tetzloff gained extensive entrepreneurial experience as CEO of one of Germany’s largest dealership groups from 2015-2019, before returning to Mercedes-Benz Own Retail as Sales Manager, Rhine-Main (the largest sales area in Germany). In this role, Tetzloff was also responsible for new passenger car retail sales in Germany and business development. Since March 2022, Tetzloff has headed Mercedes-Benz Russia.
