Lexus prepares successor to LFA but with 100% battery – Observer

Lexus, Toyota’s luxury brand, revealed at the end of 2021 a series of new electric vehicles that it intends to produce in the near future. Among them there were more and accessible models, but there was also no lack of sports models, those who create fans and make customers fall in love. A small electric sports coupé, with a long front and a cabin very close to the rear, to enhance its aggressiveness, stood out among the others.

Lexus is no stranger to exciting sports cars, even if they don’t make them as often as their most loyal customers would like. Just remember The LFA, a sports coupé that launched on the market in 2010 and which produced only 500 examples, powered by a 4.8 V10 engine that produced 560 hp. and takes the model to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, before reaching 325 km/h.

The Japanese manufacturer did not give many details about the future electric coupé that has a pipe, except that. it will be able to exceed the threshold of 100 km/h in more than 2 seconds. This makes it clearly faster than the LFAwhich was slower than a second and a half.

Without going into details that indicate the type of cells that will make up the battery, Lexus announces that the electric coupé aims to announce a range of more than 700 kilometers. The manufacturer is interested in having a complete range of electric cars and, by all indications, that not only will this coupé be part of the offer, but it could be a flagship, similar to what happened before with the LFA.
