In Land Rover, the Defender model has been the big star of recent years in terms of new products on the market. Its design, which combines modernity with respect for the brand’s past, is undoubtedly one of the most stylish in the industry.
At first, we knew that two examples would be given to us; two-door version, 90, then four-door, variant 110. Shortly after their launch, rumors began to spread about the introduction of other variants, including one to take the name 130.
Well, the last one will be launched in full on May 31. We are talking about a version extended by almost 15 inches, but taking advantage of the same wheel as the livery 110. So we are talking about a model that will offer the same behavior, but for off-road driving , the exit angle will be different. back due to the elongated part there.
For those who take their Land Rover Defender off the beaten track, of course.
Ahead of the model’s presentation, Land Rover released footage of the model in action, so the sand kicked up by the car’s movement obscures the part you want to see.
Of course, this version will serve those who need more space in the third row, but also those who want more loading capacity. The company also revealed the possible configuration of the interior and we learn that the model will be able to accommodate eight people, two in the front and six in the other two rows.
The Model 110 offers a maximum of seven seats.
Mechanically, the Defender 130 is expected to benefit from the engines of the 90 and 110 versions, but it will be interesting to see if the 2-liter turbo 4-cylinder is retained to pull more mass. It still offers 296 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.
We will get back to you on the 31st with all the details.
