Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae: a good ride

Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae

It is the end of the Aventador career, which does not go from stage to back door with the final version required: the Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae. The Italian company sells the final series for 600 copies, including 250 road operators and 350 coupes. Note: All copies have already been sold, even if production is completed within a few months.

This is goodbye to the Lamorghini Aventador, but also to the traditional V12 aircraft engine. After more than a decade of work, the Italian supercar crouches. The replacement of the Murcielago has managed to maintain its place among the largest and most powerful vehicles on the planet. It was the first Lamborgini with a carbon monocoque chassis.

It has here the famous V12 block of 6.5 L transfer, which grows here the power increased to 780 hp. It is enough to allow it to maintain incredible performance: 0 to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds and 0 to 200 km / h in 8.7 seconds. High speeds make it possible to reach 355 km / h at top speeds. Its performance logically is similar to that of the Aventador SVJ, which has 770 hp.

The price of this latest Aventador exceeded 400,000 euros in the list price. In total, more than 10,000 Aventators were released. Higher, but logically lower figure compared to Huracan who has just come out to celebrate its 20,000 copies produced.

By 2023, an alternative to this Aventador should arrive on the market. It will signal a break, with an engine that will no longer be fuel but a hybrid of charging again. We rely on the talent of Italian engineers to excite their fans, despite these technological changes imposed.
