Lamborghini abandoned in Montreal after a fatal accident


A Lamborghini Aventador was left in Dollard-des-Ormeaux overnight from Friday to Saturday after colliding with a pole. Despite extensive damage to the vehicle, those involved left the scene before emergency services arrived.

The Montreal Police Department was called to the scene around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning. The luxury car was found on Boulevard des Sources, near boulevard Brunswick, according to Véronique Comtois, SPVM communications manager. The Lamborghini, which is worth several hundred thousand dollars, sustained extensive damage and has since been towed.

The person(s) in the car were not there when the police arrived. An investigation is underway to find out the identity of the owner and the person who was driving the vehicle. Information about a possible car theft was not available at the time Media was discussed by SPVM, at the end of the day on Saturday.

No other vehicle was involved in the accident. A Lamborghini, such as the Aventador, would have hit a pole, according to information from the SPVM. The occupants of the car, if injured, left the scene before emergency services arrived.
