Kia is promoting electric mobility at the Caramulo Motorfestival


Kia has announced that it will be present at the festival Caramulo car festivalwhich takes place between 2 and 4 September, with the aim of promoting a set of actions dedicated to electric and sustainable mobility, reinforcing with thousands of participants its position as a brand sincerely committed to the transition to this new reality.

The South Korean brand, the official sponsor of the 2022 edition of the Caramulo Motorfestival, will be responsible for the first time of the “Electric Village”, offering a vision of the future at an event dedicated to classic cars.

Seeking to highlight the dynamic capabilities of its models, the brand will also take the EV6 unit over the famous Caramulo ramp, in a demonstration that it is possible to experience driving sensations without zero emissions.

In addition, Kia will display a variety of its electric vehicles, which already have a total of 10 models, including three hybrids (HEV) – Niro, Sportage and Sorento; four plug-in hybrids (PHEV) – Ceed, XCeed, Sportage and Sorento; and three 100% electric – e-Soul, Niro and EV6. In Portugal, electric vehicles already represent almost a third of all Kia sales

Remember that Kia intends to expand the range of electric vehicles to 14 models by 2027, which according to the brand should represent sales of 1.2 million units in this segment by the end of the decade.
