Jeep continues to lead the SUV market in 2022 in Brazil

Jeep ended March leading the Brazilian SUV market. The brand also achieved this success in the quarter, with a 21% share among SUVs and 30,303 cars sold.

In relation to the market as a whole, it closed with 8% of shares in the first three months of the year, an increase of almost 1.2 pp compared to the same period of the previous year (6.8%). The Compass and Renegade were still among the top ten sellers in the first three months of the year.

In March, 10,160 vehicles were sold, with a 19.8% share in the segment and keeping Commander and Compass as leaders in their categories.

Compass and Commander

Once again, the Compass led among mid-size SUVs, with 4,727 units sold and a 38.5% share in its segment.

The Commander, in turn, also achieved a similar performance in its category, with 1,835 cars sold and 39% of the D-SUV segment, almost twice the second place.

“This quarter was special for Jeep. We maintained our leadership position among SUVs, joined the Compass and Commander at the top of their categories and also launched the New Renegade, which brings together more off-road capabilities, technology and performance”, comments Everton Kurdejak , Jeep’s Senior Vice President. Commercial Operations for Brazil, in a press release.
