Japan Grand Prix 2022: discover the full program (dates, times in France and TV)!

This weekend, MotoGP riders leave Europe to travel to Japan and take part in the sixteenth round of the championship that was relaunched last Sunday in Spain. See the full MotoGP Japan Grand Prix schedule below.

Exclusively this weekend, only three free practice sessions will be held in Japan and only the top two will decide who will jump directly to Q2 and who will have to go through Q1. Disruption of the standard format that only targets anticipating potential problems associated with shipping equipment in the face of a tight 2022 schedule since the Aragon Grand Prix ended in difficulty last Sunday. In this way, teams have a few extra hours to spend on the Motegi circuit.

Will El Diablo keep his advantage?

During the Aragon Grand Prix, held last weekend, Fabio Quartararo suffered a fatal crash in the first lap of the race and thus having to abandon the event. Except for his part, Pecco Bagnaia managed to finish 2nd and get 20 extra pointswhich enabled him significantly reducing its delay in driver classification. Indeed, while Fabio Quartararo had a 30-point lead over the Italian before the Aragon Grand Prix, now he is only 10 and therefore will have no room for error during the Japan Grand Prix. Especially sincehe is also threatened by Aleix Espargarowho is currently accusing only 17 points behind the leader of the championship. So nothing is won for Fabio Quartararo, who is well aware of thathe will have to perform at Motegi if he wants to stay at the top of the drivers’ classification.. So the sixteenth round of the season promises to be fiercely competitive and this, for our great joy !
