Hyundai ties up with Vivo for free internet on new cars – Digital Convergence

Hyundai announced this Wednesday, 7/6, the launch of the new version of the HB20 “full of technological content” – the case of the Hyundai Bluelink network connection system, in collaboration with Vivo, as well as voice recognition and connectivity possibilities. The new car has seven models, and its price ranges from R$76,000 to R$118,000. With the launch of the new Hyundai HB20, scheduled for August, the manufacturer also announces that the free trial period of the Bluelink car connectivity system has been extended from 6 months to 3 years. This free period, valid from the date of purchase of the car, also it applies to all customers who have previously purchased Bluelink-equipped vehicles, from the HB20 family and from the Hyundai Crete SUV line.

With Hyundai Bluelink, Vivo is partnering with the automaker to provide M2M (machine-to-machine) connectivity using an embedded IoT e-SIM. “The solution we are creating together with Hyundai is not just connectivity, but a comprehensive ecosystem dedicated to connected cars”, explains Vivo’s B2B vice president, Alex Salgado.
