After months even in the number of sales, BMW established itself as the only leader in cars deluxe in Peru. In May, the German manufacturer got 114 positions, compared to 93 for Audiits closest competitor.
May was the best performing month for Top cars. The month was closed by 421 registration, when January had 318; 265 in February, 324 in March and 297 in April. At the same time, the industry grew overall 5.0%according to Sunarp statistics provided by the Peruvian Automobile Association.

Leader BMW stayed with him 27.1% of market share in the last month. Thus he demonstrated the growth of 5.6% compared to its performance in May 2022. When Audi took over 22.1% of the market, and the growth of 3.3% compared to what happened in 2022.

The third member of the German trident, Mercedes-Benz, faces a different reality. Although it remains the third brand in the luxury segment, in May it was registered 74 units, 17.6% from the Peruvian market; which led to a decrease in sales -18,7% compared to the same month last year.

He had the same luck Volvowhich together with his 47 sales closed in May with its best performance to date in 2023, taking 11.2% From the market. However, it received a reduction in the amount of sales 16.1% compared to what happened in 2022.
Performance of Mini remains to be praised. The brand continues to grow month by month. It can be closed with 39 registration and market share of 9.3%. In this way, it got the growth of 44.4% compared to May last year.

How stragglers remain Lexus (19 sales in May and a market share of 4.5%), Porsche (17 sales and a market share of 4.0%), and Land Rover (11 sales and 2.6% share). Also in May, four were sold Maseratiand lamborghiniand Cadillac and a Bentley.
Finally, until now in 2023, until the end of May, they have registered 1.625 units. This meant a growth of +17,3% compared to segment performance luxury in the first five months of 2022.
