Red will shine with yellow at Ferrari this weekend. This Wednesday, the Italian team revealed a special preview of the car in the Formula 1 Italian GP, when the team will race at home, in front of the Italian crowd. The factory is a celebration of 75 years of Ferrari history.
Yellow is a reference to the beginning of the company, when that was the main color. At the traditional Circuit de Monza, Ferrari fans will be able to see yellow highlighted on the front and rear wings, on the car’s identification numbers and on the “fin” section, before the rear wing.
Drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr. they will wear all yellow overalls, with only red on the sponsor’s branding. In addition, the pits and the Ferrari hospitality center at Monza will be yellow.
The team takes yellow as its second color as it represents the city of Modena, where Ferrari came from. Yellow is also behind the famous image of a horse, which is the company’s logo. The GP will also be in a festive mood as it celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Monza Circuit.
In a difficult situation in the championship, Ferrari wants to win again in front of its fans, something that has not happened since 2019, when Leclerc led. The Monegasque is the second winner of the championship, with 201 points, against the 310 of the Dutchman Max Verstappen, from Red Bull.
