[Flagra] Fiat Argo 2023 1.0 has already been distributed to dealers

The version caught on Fiat Argo 2023 is the basic one called only 1.0. Model to be delivered later this month

On Friday (15/8), reader Everton Junior spotted a crane truck with several Fiat Argo 2023 units in version 1.0. To keep the price down, the brand will once again offer an entry option with unpainted door handles and mirrors. As the hatch has already been distributed, the debut of the modified Argo will be later this month. Apart from minor visual modifications, the big news for the hatch will be the arrival of a CVT transmission mated to the 1.3 Firefly engine.

The redesign of Argo was brought forward by Mystery Cars in November 2021. In February this year, our report was exclusively captured the first models being tested on the streets of Belo Horizonte (MG).

Fiat Argo 2023 will be sold in versions 1.0, 1.0 Drive, 1.3 Drive, 1.3 Drive CVT and 1.3 Trekking and 1.3 Trekking CVT.

The appearance of Everton shows that our published estimate in March they had 100% hits.. Fiat Argo 2023 kept the headlights, fenders and hood from the line launched in 2017. External changes are limited to the front bumper, the main grille gets a little thinner, gets a new design, finally the lower part of the piece gets an extension that fits inside “tooth” at the bottom of the headlights.

The lower intake gets new features in the form of a beehive and is now a set with only additional lights. An all-black kit will be featured on the bumper as if it were an attachment on it. In the adventurous version, a silver appliqué on the lower part of the bumper completes the look. The adventurous version will have new stickers on the 2023 line.

At the rear, the Argo 1.0 2023 and Trekking do not have any visual changes, except for the new Adventurous edition sticker on the trunk lid, where the Trekking name will be in the middle.

Inside, the only change to the modified Argo 2023 lineup is the steering wheel inherited from the Pulse, otherwise the same. The hatch should also have the same front seats as the SUV, as side bags will be available for the 1.0 and 1.3 versions. Perhaps, side airbags should be standard in some hatch options.

Traction and stability controls will be standard on the 1.3 Park and 1.3 Trekking versions. In version 1.0 Storage is still optional and in entry 1.0 items will not be available.

Fiat Argo 2023 engines

In the 1.0 and 1.0 Drive versions, the hatch will have a 1.0 Firefly engine with a power of 71 hp at 6,000 rpm and a torque of 10 kgfm at 3,250 rpm and petrol. With ethanol, the power is now 75 hp (lost 2 hp) at 6,000 rpm and a torque of 10.7 kgfm (lost 200 grams) at 3,250 rpm. The transmission is a five-speed manual.

With the 1.3 Firefly engine, the Fiat The Argo Drive and Trekking 2023 will have the same 1.3 engine as the Pulse with lower power and torque values. The power with gasoline is 98 hp at 6,250 rpm and a torque of 13.2 kgfm at 4,250 rpm, and with ethanol, the power is 107 hp at 6,250 rpm and a torque of 13.4 kgfm at 4,000 rpm. The Traveler will have a five-speed manual transmission and a CVT automatic with seven-speed simulation.
