Ferrari’s preparations continue to return to the pinnacle of endurance and the World of Specialization (WEC) in 2023 with its LM Hypercar. Over the past few months, tests have been carried out on the route, which has already reached nearly 5,000 km.

The fact that was revealed by the director of sporting activities at Ferrari, Antonello Coletta, to the website Motorsport.com, in an interview in which he began by saying: ‘We have done many kilometers and at the moment we are happy, but know that the road is long. One day we have a problem and the next day there is no problem, so we need more consistency. But it is clear that we are at the beginning of our development plan.’

In the three major tests that it has already done, Ferrari has completed a distance of 5,000 km, in a phase in which its development drivers are Alessandro Pier Guidi, Alessio Rovera, Andrea Bertolini, Antonio Fuoco, Daniel Serra, Davide Rigon, James Calado. , Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen. Until the time of marriage in early 2023, Ferrari has a big program planned.

Regarding this, Coletta explained: ‘The plan is to do tests every two weeks, but the reality changes a lot. We build the car in the usual way: we test it, we go back to the factory, we check the data and work on the car.
