Tire and maintenance specialist, Euromaster, will take over the sale of electric vehicles in partnership with start-up Elaris.

Euromaster will take the first step in the electric vehicle sector before the end of the year. From autumn 2021, the company will sell and service Elaris vehicles starting in Germany. Two models of the Elaris will be released later this year.

The first one will be called Finn and will be a “zero emission” city car under three meters long. Its 31.5 kWh battery will provide a range of 265 km in the WLTP cycle. It will cost 22,900 euros before the bonus is applied.

Called Leo, the second model will be an electric SUV with a length of 4.53 meters. Its 80 kWh battery will give it a range of 450 km on the same cycle. The price of Elaris Leo will be 37,900 euros before the bonus is applied.

In Rhine, Euromaster will provide all dealer services for these two vehicles. In addition to sales and maintenance, the brand will guarantee two electric models.

“A few years ago, we set ourselves the goal of becoming the best environmental workshop chain”, said David Gabrysch. The CEO of Euromaster Germany notes that the company is changing the training of its employees accordingly. “We started very early to prepare our employees for the new era of e-mobility with high voltage training, for example”.

At this point, we do not know if the brand also intends to launch the sale of these two electric cars in France.
