Just because it’s a model, Rolls-Royce should not stop visiting beautiful settings. Perhaps for that reason, or not, the second round of testing is taking place on the French Riviera.
The prototype Spectre, Rolls-Royce’s first purely electric production model, continues its test phase with more than 2.5 million kilometers planned. The second phase of testing takes place in the south of France, on the French Riviera and includes several tests at the technical center of Miramas, but also on the roads of the Côte d’Azur.
The test phase in the south of France represents the passage of about 40 percent of the development phase of the Specter and has about 625 thousand kilometers planned, with the aim of testing the new intelligent suspension system for fatigue, which has already been proven. an architecture with a stability of more than 30 percent, made possible by the integration of the battery pack in the structure, and the aerodynamics of this new model which has a coefficient of around 0.25, that is, the most aerodynamic Rolls-Royce ever.
The Specter will certainly represent a major step forward for a brand as steeped in tradition as Rolls-Royce, representing a new era in its history. And that alone makes it one of the most anticipated models of all 118 years of Rolls-Royce.
