A very special bug: get to know the reinterpretation of the style by the German Milivié
When we think of cars that marked entire generations, the Volkswagen Beetle is undoubtedly among the models on the list. The success of the model is not limited to the national market, rather, car success registered worldwide.
The success made the car collect a series of car lovers. With this in mind, the German company Milivié developed its own interpretation of the Beetle, with changes that make it modern, however, without losing the original essence of the original car.
However, all this has a cost, the car that will be limited to 22 units (1 unit for every million cars the Volkswagen Beetle sold), each of which will have its own value 570,000 euroswhich in direct conversion is something in tor R$ 3.1 million.
The company explains that “Milivié 1 is a car that is instantly recognizable, but it is a car that was never imagined.” A unique car that was designed for the masses has completely transformed into a machine for the few.
The Milivié 1, as the model is called, is the brainchild of Jonathan Engler, an artistic engineer who is passionate about celebrating dead German automotive icons and intelligently rebuilding them to unimaginable new heights.
What model justifies the high price?
The car retains the DNA of the original Beetle, however, it receives several modifications that make it more modern and technological, such as the entire set of eyes in LED, such as headlights, headlights and fog lights.
The door handles are built into the bodywork and the wheels are 19″, with a completely different finish. In addition, the car also has turn signal repeaters integrated into the exterior mirrors.
Inside, the model has a smaller profile, with the use of a wood finish.
However, there is also a high level of embedded technology, such as the use of two screens of 12.3” each, placed under a single glass area, similar to Mercedes-Benz models. They are responsible for connecting the multimedia center with the driver’s control panel.
In addition, the car has cable-free smartphone charging, USB ports, and a nine-speaker audio system.
Under the hood, the car has a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder combustion engine with two Weber carburetion. There are no details yet on the power of the model. However, the brand has already said that the engine will work in conjunction with a four-speed automatic transmission, similar to the one used in the Porsche Carrera 2.
That is, as the whole frame and finish of the model is of a high level, and the mechanical system has sports effects, the high value invested is more related to the fact that it is a limited production car, as well. like nostalgia and history behind the concept.
