It’s called Taiga Gray and it’s a limited edition of just 999 Cupra Formentor VZ5, with a custom color and interior to match.
Cupra once again surprises with its bold and emotional design, as it now proves that it can create special editions of models that already stand out for their differences. In this way, and using the exclusive Formentor VZ5, the brand now offers a special edition called Taiga Grey, which includes a special shade of the body and an interior with a more detailed look and accessories that also add another level of exclusivity.
Since it uses the VZ5 version as a base, a 2.5-liter turbo-cylinder engine is included, with a maximum output of 390 horsepower and 480Nm of torque. Ground transmission is provided with the help of a permanent all-wheel drive system and a two-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. With this configuration, the Cupra Formentor VZ5 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.2 seconds and reach 250 km / h.
As for the Taiga Gray version, production will start this week in Martorell and will be limited to 999 units, each identified by a unique laser-engraved metal plate, which will be placed on one of the door panels.
