CUPRA continues its international development in 2022

This brand is strengthening its presence in Mexico with the new CUPRA Garage in Cancún. Developments in Latin America have also been confirmed by the opportunities planned for this year in Colombia and Peru. CUPRA will expand into the Asia-Pacific region and announce its arrival in Australia in the middle of the year.

Since opening its first City Garage in Mexico City in 2019, CUPRA has continued to grow in Mexico. With the launch of CUPRA Leon and Formentor last year, the brand managed to deliver 2,000 products. This year, CUPRA aims to triple its sales in Mexico, accelerating brand growth by providing 6,000 vehicles. Apart from the CUPRA Garage in Cancún, CUPRA has also opened CUPRA Garages in Puebla and San Luis Potosí.

And to further strengthen its presence in Latin America, the brand plans to launch in Colombia and Peru in the coming months.

CUPRA also brings happiness, electricity and performance to Israel. During his visit to the CUPRA Garage in Tel Aviv, Wayne Griffiths, CEO of CUPRA, announced the company’s goal to increase sales three times in the country by 2022.

By 2021, sales of CUPRA exceeded 1,100 units in Israel (plus 88% of CUPRA Formentor). Recent milestones will be completed with the hybrid versions of the CUPRA Formentor and CUPRA Leon plug-ins, along with CUPRA Born, the first 100% electric car.
